Photos; Nigerian Troops Launch Assault On Boko Haram Group As They Advance Sambisa Forest

Nigerian troops have upped their game in the battle against Boko Haram insurgency after launching an advancement assault towards the main camp of the Boko Haram in Sambisa. During the encounter, the troops freed many hostages and dislodged some Boko Haram insurgents, who fled on sighting them. The troops discovered a tunnel the sect uses as hideout from military air strikes. They also destroyed Boko Haram flags, motorcycles, among other properties.
