A car snatching syndicate that specializes in the reshaping of a
robbed/snatched car has been nabbed by the operatives of the Ogui
Division of the Nigeria Police Force Enugu state command who also
recovered the snatched/stolen vehicle. Suspect who gave his name as one
Chijioke John and an Auto Electrician from Ikwo in Ebonyi state but
residing at Mgbemena street Awada layout Onitsha in Anambra state was
nabbed by the operatives as he was working on the vehicle in a shop at
Onitsha.
He is now helping the operatives in their investigations which has commenced in full scale.
It could be recalled that on 20th of February,2016 a toyota Highlander
Jeep with Registration Number Enu 358 Nk was allegedly snatched at
Onuike Top Land Awkunanaw by some hoodlums and following a tip off
received by the operatives,they swung into action where suspect was
arrested and the vehicle recovered.
