Gov. Shettima swears in Chairman, 5 Commissioners for Local Government Service Commission, and a Permanent Secretary to the Borno State Civil Service
Gov. Kashim Shettima has sworn in Sen. Kaka Mallum Yale as the new Chairman of the Borno State Local Government Service Commission in an occasion held on Wednesday at the Council Chamber of the Government House in Maiduguri.
Others sworn in as Commissioners for the Commission are Alhaji Abdullah Zaifada, Alhaji Mala Kukawa, Alhaji Abubakar Mbowaya, Hajiya Maryam Bukar Abba Ibrahim and Alhaji Bukar Yarema.
Also sworn in as a Permanent Secretary was Hajiya Mairo Bunu Lawan, who was the immediate past Accountant General of Borno State.
Shortly after their swearing-in, Gov. Shettima congratulated them on their new appointments and called on them to live up to expectations as he reiterated the fact that their appointments was based on their proven track records of hard-work, integrity and selfless service to the state.
On his part, the Chairman of the Commission, Sen. Kaka Mallum Yale who spoke on behalf of all the appointees, thanked the Governor for the trust bestowed on them and pledged for their continued loyalty and support at all times.
