Former
Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Bolaji Abdullahi was today
elected the new spokesperson of APC at a mini convention held at Chelsea
hotel, Abuja. He succeeds Lai Mohammed who is currently the Minister of
Information and Culture. Other key officials elected at the convention
include Mohammed Zakari, deputy national treasurer, and Abdul Ibrahim,
zonal organizing secretary. In his acceptance speech, Bolaji said;
“I want to assure you that we shall do all in our capacity to continue to strengthen the party. We know that if we continue to engage the people of Nigeria in all humility, they will continue to stand with us even in the midst of this difficult time”.
