Mahershala Ali becomes first Muslim actor to win an Oscar

Mahershala Ali has made Oscar history by becoming the first Muslim actor to win an Academy Award.

He won the '' best supporting actor, for "Moonlight at the 2017 Oscars.During an emotional speech, Ali thanked his "wonderful teachers and professors,and his wife , who just gave birth a few days ago.
