A young boy has gotten himself into a very seriously problematic situation with the law after he murdered his own girlfriend.
Leah Adams was murdered
An unnamed 17-year-old teenager is suspected of stabbing his girlfriend to death with a sharp knife in Virginia,USA.
According to The Sun UK, it is now claimed that the young man may have been high on drugs that “made him go crazy” enough to commit the crime.
The victim, Leah Adams, 19, was found bleeding from the neck and
chest on a police officer’s driveway after an alleged incident with her
boyfriend.
Cops said they were called to an incident in Front Royal, Virginia,
initially logged as a hit-and-run when they found her with the
injuries, according to Fox 5.
Citing her father Robert Adams, NBC Washington reported she was
killed when her boyfriend tried to take her car and Leah jumped into the
vehicle to stop him.
He said: “It’s possible he was on some type of drug that made
him go crazy. They got along very well, so we were shocked to hear
everything that happened.
“She had big plans for herself. She had a good job, she was
going to school, she worked hard and she was full of personality. She
had places to go and it was too soon for her to go.
“Part of me actually wants to hate the kid, but I have a really
strong faith, a really good church, and part of me wants to forgive
him.”
According to Fox 5, the suspect was arrested attempting to break
into a home soon after they arrived on the scene. They also found Leah’s
damaged car nearby.
He has since been charged with second-degree murder.
A resident said: “It’s terrible for the community. You don’t want to see any of these young kids hurt. It’s devastating. It’s tragic.”
