The
Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun, have been caught on camera as
he physically intervenes to save a female politician from a mob during
Senator Adeleke's burial in Osun.
In a photo exclusively posted by SaharaReporters, the Governor of
Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun, was seen saving a female politician from
getting attacked at the burial of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke in Osun
state.
Governor Amosun, who was among dignitaries that attended the
burial, was seen pushing a thug who was visibly unhappy about the
presence of Idiat Babalola, who is a commissioner nominee of Governor
Rauf Aregbesola of Osun state at the funeral ceremony.
Recall that we had earlier reported
that a canopy where APC Governors; Ibikunle Amosun, Rotimi Akeredolu
and Olagunsoye Oyinlola where sitting during the burial of Senator
Adeleke, was collapsed by some angry supporters who had attempted to
chase out the female politician.
Idiat Babalola, who was seated among the dignitaries including the
younger brother of the deceased, Deji Adeleke, was chased out by the
youths who alleged that the former governor was poisoned by some APC
leaders.
The irate youths said Babalola was being touted to become the running mate of the anointed candidate of the APC.
