  • Hon. Elijah Onyeagba Inspires Students, bags Award of Honour

The Comr. Joseph Okafor led Unizik SUG has held the best Annual Public lecture so far in the history of the institution having in attendance high profile dignitaries and extraordinary public and private sector role models as speakers for the event.

The program held on Monday at the Varsity Multipurpose hall, featured great lectures that impacted every one in attendance.
Top Government officials from Anambra State and the South East region were present; academics, career development experts, etc, which all together detonated their extensive wealth of experience during the several lectures.

Hon. Afam Mbanefo the former commissioner for Agriculture who is now the Honourable commissioner for Youths and creative economy, delivered a powerful lecture who saw him an outstanding ovation.
Hon. Valentine Ayika representing Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal Constituency trilled the entire students presents and put smiles on their faces as he gifts N200 to almost every students.

The climax of it was the lecture delivered by Hon. Elijah Onyeagba who motivated the students, inspired them and shared his own life experience to how he made it to where he is today.
He spoke extensively about how the Nigerian student can get employed even right in school and become valuable to the economy, the Nation and the society.
Although rephrased, he advised the Unizik students to enroll for project management classes, develop skills, apply for training with online certification, and build up qualifications as only the school certificate will not make you relevant in the outside world. He also told the students to use their devices, phones, and the Internet to grow and draw out knowledge, discouraging online addiction for fun and chatting.
He gifted a student who figured out a puzzle he shared to the audience a sum of N10,000.00.
Hon. Onyeagba was also given an award of Honour by the leadership of the NAU Students.

The public lecture was indeed worth attending; events like this occurs once in a lifetime and the impacts remains for Years and years.

I therefore extol the virtues of the Comr. Joseph Okafor led Unizik SUG and commend for her laudable efforts in her relentless inputs for the desire of a better and greater Unizik.
Indeed, you are a leader with a difference.
