  • ..Calls Ebonyi State Government to honour the young Pharmacist.

    Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement has showered encomiums on the Ebonyi State Born Ex- NYSC member, Pharm. Daniel Eze for emerging the pharmanews National YOUNG PHARMACIST OF THE YEAR Award.

    In a press release made available to newsmen by Amb Timothy Nwachukwu, National President, Comr. Andrew Nworie, National Secretary and Comr. Prince Ominyi, National Publicity Secretary of Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement, The group revealed that the Ebonyi State Born Ex-NYSC member who served in Borno State engraved his name on the sands of time, shone brilliantly among his peers, bagging several awards and stood out as the most outstanding and Winner of Pharmanews Young pharmacist of the year Award.

    The group noted that Some of the  sterling achievements of the Ebonyi State Born young pharmacist include but not limited to attracting university Scholarship for the IDP bright, but indigent students in Borno State. 

    He Made Part payment of WAEC/NECO enrollment fee for a bright but poor IDP student, Ibrahim Alhaji of Government Day Secondary Sch. Gamboru Ngala, Borno state.

    He made a gift presentation to Kuchelli Ishaya, the IDP student that made best score in JAMB.

    He held several
    career Orientation, Guidance and Counselling for the students and sensitizing them on opportunities like scholarships available for them in the university like NNPC, Chevron, Agbami, Federal Government scholarships etc.

    He organised teaching and  extramural classes for the WAEC/NECO/JAMB candidates of IDP schools in Jere L.G.A and their host schools.

    He made a donation of educational learning materials to IDP Senior Sec. Schools from Gwoza, Bama, Gamboru Ngala and Dikwa and their two (2) host schools (Books, Scientific calculators, Mathematics sets, graph books, pen, ruler, pencils, Textbooks etc)

    He pionered free tutorial and Research development for University of maiduguri Pharmacy Students,

    He did a Radio program (weekly) on public health sensitization

    He made a donation of customized COVID-19 protective materials for the IDPs schools and their host schools (customized hand sanitizer and liquid soaps, detergent, toilet soap, toilet tissue paper etc)

    He Distributed several Welfare packages (Foods, transport fare and gifts) to the IDP students who find it difficult to feed and come to school.

    He organized  science quiz competitions among the IDPs schools and their hosts.

    He organised  seminars and workshop on drug abuse and misuse among the students of UNIMAID and the youths in the Jere LGA.

    He made a Donation of school uniform to the indigent students of various IDP schools in Jere.

    H carried out a  research work on Assessment and Evaluation for improving nine (9) public schools in Jere LGA, Borno state.

    He made an analysis of  questionnaire using SPSS statistic tools.

    He  had a Supervisory role and health training for the Borno state Pharmacy Students Association (BOSPSA) and led them to a health outreach at IDP camp

    He organised an occupational Health Program for Borno state NYSC staff,

    He  Developed  a blueprint for Pharmacy Innovative Forum (PIF) for various pharmacy students which has been previewed in three Pharmacy schools: UNIZIK, UNIMAID and COOU.

    Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement therefore calls on Ebonyi State Government to honour and Celebrate the young Ebonyians whose Sterling performance has placed the state in positive limelight.
