Where are you based: Lagos State, Nigeria.

How long have you been making music:  I have been singing since I was a child but I launched my music career and recorded my first track in 2012.

What genre would you consider your music to be: Afropop, highlife and R&B

What inspired you to pursue a career in music: I grew up loving music passionately. My ability to sing, play some musical instruments, and write lyrics is innate. However, I became inspired to pursue a career in music when I discovered that nothing gives me the satisfaction and joy I derive from doing music. I was more inspired sometimes in 2012 / 2013 when I participated in about 4 singing and lyrics contests and I performed impressively with prizes. This made me hearken to my guts to pursue my passion.

 

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist:  I am an independent artist currently managed by Forte 🪐 Empires.

What has been the biggest challenges in your music career: Being an upcoming artist is really challenging. It's been very tough handling promotions, having top-notch recordings, and gaining the world's acceptance when one is not signed to a big record label.

How many songs or albums have you released to date: I have recorded 6 single tracks and another 4 features with other artists.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release: Yeah, DIFFERENCE is a song encouraging self-validation. Everyone is unique and different in some ways, so it is needless to do things like others just to gain validation, acceptance, or become like others. Believing in oneself and accepting our unique differences is key, that's the message in DIFFERENCE.

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about: Yes!!! Plans are being made and effort is ongoing for new audio and visual releases this year. I'm promising that it's going to be like good stuff you've never heard /seen before. Cheers 🥂
