  • “He Told Me To Send My Daughter Away On Our Wedding Day”: Woman Narrates Why She Ended Her Marriage After 8 Months

  • A heartbroken mother has shared the painful story of how her marriage collapsed just eight months after saying “I do,” revealing how her husband issued a shocking ultimatum about her 6-year-old daughter on their wedding day.

According to her, she began dating the man knowing he was a widower and a single father of four. From the start, she was open about her life as a single mother, and he assured her he had no issue with it. He told her he lost his wife four years earlier, and she believed they were building a blended family rooted in understanding and acceptance.

“His true feelings showed the day he met my daughter.”

She recalled how his behavior changed the moment she introduced her daughter to him. He became cold, distant, and uninterested.

He never played with the little girl, barely responded when she greeted him, and made no effort to bond with her. She hoped things would improve with time.

After a year of dating, he proposed. Believing love would eventually soften his heart toward her child, she said yes.

    The wedding-day ultimatum

But immediately after the wedding reception, he dropped the most devastating news she could have imagined.

He told her she had to send her daughter to live with her 69-year-old mother, insisting he would not be comfortable having the child in his home.

Stunned and shaken, she asked why he hid this before their wedding.

His reply was simple and final:
    “My decision is final.”

She refused. She had raised her daughter alone all her life and would not abandon her. She also pointed out that his own four children—including the youngest—lived with them without question.

“That was when the real maltreatment began.”

According to her, he began emotionally abusing and excluding her daughter in ways that became impossible to ignore:

    • He ignored the girl daily
    • Yelled at her for minor mistakes he tolerated from his own kids
    • Bought essentials and toys only for his children
    • Consistently left her daughter out with the excuse that he “forgot”
    • Told his older children not to share anything with her

The worst of all was that he often locked the little girl outside after school, forcing her to sit alone on the veranda until her mother returned—while his own kids stayed inside watching TV.

“I couldn’t stay in a marriage where my child was being repeatedly abused.”

Despite treating all five children with love and fairness, she realized the man made no attempt to show her daughter the same humanity. The emotional damage was too severe to overlook.

After eight months of enduring the toxicity, she filed for divorce.

    The harassment continues

She claims that her ex-husband has since been harassing her—calling from different numbers, laying curses, and emotionally manipulating her with claims of heartbreak and karma.

Despite blocking him repeatedly, he allegedly keeps finding new numbers to insult her.

“Was I wrong to end the marriage?”

She now questions whether she made the right decision or acted too quickly by ending the marriage.
