A young woman has taken to social media to cry out for help after an alleged failed housing transaction with a real estate agent in Ibadan. According to her, the situation has left her emotionally, financially, and mentally drained.
Narrating her ordeal, Sarah stated that in April 2025, she paid ₦300,000 as a down payment for an apartment near Agbowo, University of Ibadan (UI). The agent, identified as Mr. Ademiluyi OluFemi Samuel, reportedly informed her that the apartment was “no longer available,” but months later, he has allegedly failed to refund her money in full.
She explained that after several efforts to reach him, the agent refunded ₦50,000 in July and another ₦50,000 afterward, leaving an outstanding balance of ₦200,000.
Since then, she claims the agent has been unreachable — refusing to pick calls, ignoring messages, and avoiding every attempt at peaceful resolution. According to her, despite saying he has “not been around since April,” he allegedly continues to collect money from other clients.
Sarah revealed that she even reported the matter to the police in July, but that still did not yield a solution.
The emotional and financial burden, she said, has cost her peace, opportunities, and stability.
“I’m tired. I just want my money back,” she lamented.
She shared the agent’s photo and contact number — +234 805 252 2459 — not for harassment, but in hopes that someone who knows him or has dealt with him can assist in resolving the matter.
