Nigerian lawmaker Senator Ned Nwoko has stirred major controversy after publicly making startling claims about his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, during an event held in Abuja.
While addressing the audience, the senator alleged that Regina and her friends engaged in heavy partying, drinking, and the use of prohibited substances at the same hotel where he was lodged.
According to him, the activities reportedly lasted four days.
Quoting him, Senator Nwoko said:
“Did you know that Regina Daniels also chose this place for her drinks and partying?
They took this place and it was four days of partying for them. Four days of drinking and sm0king and all that goes with that. I can tell you that. Quote me, because we have the evidence.”
He emphasized that he only speaks with verifiable proof:
“As a lawyer, I don’t say things I don’t know. I work with evidence. When you talk with someone like me, know you’re not talking with a normal person. I'm not a normal person. I have a level.”
Nwoko went on to claim that the alleged activities were documented, including supposed conflicts between Regina’s group and the hotel management.
He further narrated an incident where Regina allegedly blocked the hotel gates with multiple cars and asked him to involve the Commissioner of Police.
“Regina called me and said she blocked the gates and that I should call the Commissioner of Police to make sure nobody leaves the hotel. I asked her, ‘For what?’
She said her doctor came to see her and somebody slapped her. Because of that, she didn’t want anyone to leave or enter the hotel.”
He stated that he refused her request, stressing that such actions were unacceptable.
According to the senator, the situation escalated until police intervened, leading to arrests.
“She had about six cars blocking the entrance… but of course she removed them when the police got involved. Some of them were arrested. Her friend Phyna was also arrested.”
His remarks have since sparked heated reactions online, as many await Regina Daniels’ side of the story.
