  • Awuzie Frankline Opens Up: “Before My Open Letter to Harrison — Here’s My First Issue With Him”

  • Awuzie Frankline has spoken out ahead of his planned open letter to activist Harrison Gwamnishu, addressing what he describes as the real genesis of their conflict. Frankline says his aim is not to attack Harrison out of hatred, but to clarify longstanding issues that have been brewing for over a year.

According to Frankline, the dispute began when a man approached him claiming Harrison had helped recover millions of naira owed to him but allegedly refused to return the money afterward. Skeptical at first, Frankline said he personally requested Harrison’s number to verify the story.

When he called Harrison, Frankline says Harrison did not deny recovering the money. Instead, he allegedly explained that he used the funds to settle personal issues that arose after his political campaign. Frankline said he sympathized with him and pleaded that he return the money gradually, which Harrison reportedly agreed to.

However, the situation allegedly took a different turn shortly after.

Frankline claims he later discovered he had been blocked by Harrison on both phone and Facebook. Shocked, he contacted him using another number to ask why he reneged on their agreement. According to him, the conversation escalated, and Harrison allegedly stated boldly that he could not repay the money.

Frankline says the matter has dragged on for more than a year, during which the affected brother suffered major setbacks due to the withheld funds.

He revealed that it was only after the involvement of activist VDM that Harrison reportedly began making small payments toward the debt.

Frankline insists his forthcoming open letter is not driven by hate but by a need for accountability and clarity, especially as tensions rise on social media between supporters on both sides.

More updates to follow as the story develops.
