  • CUSTOMER LAMENTS “WICKED” TREATMENT AT COSBI PHARMACY, AGO OKOTA… PRAISES ALPHA BLUES FOR PROFESSIONALISM

  • A Lagos resident, Chinyere Okoro, has narrated her unpleasant experience at Cosbi Pharmacy, Ago–Okota Road, describing the conduct of two female staff on duty as “one of the most wicked” she has ever encountered.

According to her, she rushed to the pharmacy early yesterday morning while experiencing a panic attack triggered by a disturbing dream. She said she simply needed her blood pressure checked before calling her doctor for further instructions.

Okoro explained that when she got to the pharmacy, only two workers — a young lady in red and white dress and another staff member — were available, yet their attitude shocked her.

She alleged that despite arriving before every other customer, the young attendant insisted she must wait until she finished attending to others, including people who met her there.

“I was doing breathing exercises and trying to stay calm. I politely told her I needed to check my BP, but she told me I would wait until she finished with everybody, even those who came after me,” she wrote.

The situation worsened when another staff member stepped out of the inner room and also dismissed her request.

“Next thing I heard was that if I couldn’t wait, I could grab the BP machine and check it myself… and this was while I was having a panic attack,” she added.

Feeling neglected and overwhelmed, she said she quietly left the pharmacy and prayed for strength as she returned home to rest.

Okoro later visited Alpha Blues Pharmacy, where she said she received the professional care she needed.

She praised Alpha Blues as one of the best pharmacies she has patronized, noting that she often travels from Amuwo Odofin to Ago just because of their warm customer service.

“They checked my BP and kept reassuring me that I’d be fine. They were smiling, caring, and compassionate. That’s how people in the health sector should treat customers,” she wrote.

She called on Cosbi Pharmacy’s management to retrain their staff, particularly the young attendant in red and white, whom she described as “mean and unfit to work in the health sector.”

The writer concluded by thanking God for sustaining her through the ordeal.
