Fresh details have emerged about ongoing issues within the home of legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent “Tubaba” Idibia, as sources close to the family narrate how personal conflicts may be affecting the artiste’s career revival.
According to a close friend of the singer, popular rapper Odumodublvck had agreed without hesitation to work with Tubaba after being approached for a collaboration. The rapper, who was abroad at the time, reportedly flew into Nigeria immediately just to make the project happen.
However, upon Odumodublvck’s arrival, Tubaba’s wife, Natasha, allegedly insisted they had to travel to Benin, claiming that “this music thing is getting to Tubaba’s head.” The sudden trip reportedly halted the collaboration entirely.
The source further claimed that Natasha consistently prevents opportunities that could elevate Tubaba’s music career, allegedly pulling him back anytime he begins gaining momentum.
There are also allegations that she operates under certain influences—something the source says can even be medically detected.
Spiro’s Collaboration Almost Blocked
Another incident involved artiste Spiro, who was preparing to release his album and needed Tubaba’s clearance for their joint track. Spiro reportedly reached out to Tubaba via Instagram, only to later discover that Natasha had allegedly restricted him from contacting the singer.
According to the source, Spiro’s messages were hidden from Tubaba, forcing those around the music legend to give Spiro his direct phone number.
“I Have Nothing Left” — Tubaba Allegedly Breaks Down
On the same day Tubaba was released from a UK detention facility, the source said he confronted the couple about the reasons behind their constant fights. It was during this moment that Tubaba allegedly broke down in tears.
According to the source, the singer lamented that he had become a “house husband” and that he had “nothing left,” claiming Natasha takes complete control of everything he owns.
When questioned, Natasha reportedly responded that anything Tubaba owns belongs to her as well. However, the source insisted that sharing must be out of willingness, not by force or through total control of his assets.
