Suspects linked to the death of Arise TV presenter, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, have been arraigned before a court and subsequently remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja.
According to court proceedings, the defendants were formally presented before the judge, where charges relating to the tragic incident were read to them. Following the arraignment, the court ordered that they be kept in custody pending further hearing.
The case has been adjourned to February 9, 10, and 12, 2026, for definite hearing, during which the prosecution is expected to present its witnesses and evidence.
