Aliko Dangote Appoints Daughters Into Key Leadership Roles at Dangote Group

 


Africa’s richest businessman, , has appointed his daughters into key executive roles within the as part of a broader succession and expansion strategy.

Under the new structure, Halima Dangote will oversee the Dangote Family Office in Dubai and coordinate the group’s international operations from London. Fatima Dangote has been placed in charge of commercial operations at the , alongside oversight of Dangote Fertilizer and Dangote Oil and Gas. Mariya Dangote will head the conglomerate’s cement and foods businesses.

The appointments align with the company’s ambitious target of achieving a $100 billion valuation by 2030, while accelerating the global expansion of its refining and petrochemical operations.

Dangote had previously remarked, “My real investment wasn’t cement, sugar, or oil — it was my daughters,” a statement many observers say is now clearly reflected in the group’s evolving leadership structure.
