Nons Miraj’s Apartment Gift Brought Me Bad Luck, King Mitchy Gave Me ‘Audio’ ₦100m Ambassador Deal — Fish Pie Seller

In a no-holds-barred chat that has left many Nigerians stunned, viral sensation Fish Pie Boy has finally opened up about the real story behind his sudden fame — and it’s nothing like the fairy tale people thought it was.

The young man, who became a household name after scoring gifts from top celebrities, says a lot of what went viral was pure theatre. Speaking about his now-famous encounter with philanthropist King Mitchy, Fish Pie Boy admitted he was completely overwhelmed and terrified at the time.

“I was just scared,” he said plainly.

According to him, King Mitchy later drove him to the upscale Eko Hotel & Suites and introduced him to her team. There, he was told to pretend to sign a contract while cameras rolled. That single staged clip blew up online, and before he knew it, everyone assumed he had pocketed a massive ₦100 million ambassador deal.

But the reality, he claims, was far less glamorous. The young fish pie seller says the whole thing was more “audio” than actual cash — just for the cameras.

Away from the glitz, Fish Pie Boy also spoke about the heavy personal battles he’s been fighting since his father passed away. He revealed that the only person who has genuinely supported him with money in these tough times is VeryDarkMan, who gave him ₦1 million without making noise about it.

He didn’t hold back when talking about some of the gifts that were supposed to change his life. Fish Pie Boy claimed the car given to him by Nons Miraj turned out to be more curse than blessing.

The car brought me bad luck,” he said. “It broke down almost immediately.”

Even the apartment he was gifted hasn’t brought the turnaround everyone expected. The viral star disclosed that he has been living in the house for over one year and six months, yet his situation remains the same — no real progress, no meaningful change.

Fish Pie Boy’s raw confession has already started trending, with many followers saying they now see the other side of celebrity “generosity” in Nigeria.
