Mortician Arrested in Benue for Allegedly Using Corpse’s Leg as Walking Stick

 


A mortician identified as Amaobi has been arrested in following a shocking incident that has stirred outrage among residents.

According to reports, the suspect was apprehended after he was allegedly seen moving around with a human leg, which he reportedly used as a walking stick. His actions drew immediate attention from bystanders, leading to his arrest by authorities.

In his defence, Amaobi claimed the act was intended as a form of protest or demonstration. He alleged that more than 18 bodies had been abandoned in his morgue by security operatives, creating both a logistical and ethical burden for him.

The disturbing nature of the incident has since sparked widespread concern, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding the handling of corpses in the area.
