Chief Dr. Rot. Born into a disciplined family in Ibadan, Chief Dr. Jackie Adunni Kassim had part of her early upbringing and education in London, where she attended schools including St. Augustine’s CE High School and Kinver High School. Her exposure to international education and culture helped shape her broad outlook in business and leadership.
She holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) and has been publicly described as holding advanced professional credentials in security and intelligence studies. Her professional career spans private enterprise, workforce outsourcing, event management, and security services. She is publicly associated with business ventures such as Emerald Security International Limited and the Missak group of companies.
As an entrepreneur, she is noted as the founder of Missak Agency Enterprises, established in 1989, from which multiple ventures reportedly grew, including staffing, security, hospitality, and events-related businesses. Her long-standing involvement in commerce also earned her recognition within business organizations in Ota and Ogun business circles.
Her passion for humanitarian service led to the establishment of the Missak Education and Rural Development Foundation (MERDEF), a charitable platform created to support widows, underprivileged children, people with disabilities, and vulnerable communities. Through this foundation, she has become known as a benefactor whose outreach focuses on education, empowerment, and social care.
In public life, Chief Dr. Jackie Adunni Kassim has also participated in politics and civic advocacy. She was reported as the governorship candidate of the United Democratic Party (UDP) in the 2019 Ogun State gubernatorial election, becoming one of the notable female candidates in the state’s political history.
