The All Progressives Congress (APC) has recorded a commanding lead in three local government areas of Enugu North Senatorial District as collation of results continues.
According to the results announced so far, the APC emerged victorious in Uzo-Uwani, Igboeze South, and Nsukka Local Government Areas, defeating its closest rivals by a wide margin.
The cumulative results from the three local government areas show that the APC polled 141,915 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured 4,874 votes.
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) came third with 2,754 votes.
The results underscore the APC's strong performance in the Enugu North Senatorial District, although the overall outcome of the election remains subject to the completion of collation across the remaining areas.
