ASP, Four Police Officers Plead Not Guilty in Alleged Extrajudicial Killing of Delta Musician OG Million

 



Five police officers, including Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) , have pleaded not guilty to charges arising from the alleged extrajudicial killing of 28-year-old Warri-based musician, , popularly known as OG Million.

The officers were arraigned over the April 26 incident, which occurred in Effurun, . The case sparked widespread outrage after a video circulated on social media, with many claiming it captured the events leading to the musician's death.

Despite the viral footage, ASP Usman Nuhu and the four other officers denied all charges when they appeared before the court, pleading not guilty to the allegations brought against them.

The prosecution is expected to present evidence and call witnesses as the trial progresses, while the defence will have the opportunity to challenge the allegations in court.

The case continues to attract significant public attention, with many Nigerians closely following the proceedings and calling for justice for the late musician. The court is expected to fix a date for the continuation of the trial.
