ASPIRE Educational Foundation has officially welcomed a new cohort of beneficiaries into the Senior Secondary School category of its Scholarship and capcity development programme, during an onboarding event held at the Yakurr Local Government Guest House, Ugep, Cross River State.
The event brought together students who qualified for the scholarship through the second edition of the ASPIRE STEM Quiz Competition amongst schools in the Central Senatorial District of Cross River State, alongside their parents and guardians.
Speaking during the event, the Chairman of ASPIRE Educational Foundation, Mr. Kasi Usani, congratulated the newly admitted students and challenged them to make the most of the opportunity offered to them.

Mr. Usani further disclosed that the Foundation's vision extends beyond supporting students in secondary school.

The announcement was met with excitement and gratitude from parents and guardians, many of whom described the scholarship as a life-changing opportunity for their children. They expressed profound appreciation to the Foundation for easing the financial burden. Tbey also pledged to support the Foundation’s initiatives that are aimed at character development of the beneficiaries through inculcation of the Foundation’s core values (the ASPIRE values).
The onboarding session also conveyed the Foundation’s expectations of the beneficiaries, in terms of academic performance criteria and core values that must be demonstrated if they are to remain on the scholarship programme.
The event marks another milestone in ASPIRE Educational Foundation's mission to bridge educational gaps by identifying and supporting brilliant young minds, particularly in STEM education, while nurturing future leaders capable of contributing meaningfully to national development.
