Abuja-based content creator and entrepreneur Fauzia Muhammad, popularly known as Fauzahxo, has announced the end of her marriage to Danilo Popovski, alleging physical abuse, substance use, infidelity, and threats.
Fauzah made the disclosure in a detailed statement shared on social media, saying she had spent a long time presenting the image of a happy family online while privately dealing with difficulties in her marriage.
According to her, the situation became worse following the birth of their daughter. She alleged that her husband developed a substance-use problem, became emotionally distant, and was involved with another woman whom she had personally welcomed into her social circle.
Fauzah further alleged that her husband became violent when she confronted him about the situation. She recounted an incident in which she said he returned home under the influence and behaved aggressively around their newborn daughter, prompting her to leave the home with the child for their safety.
She also shared videos and audio recordings, which she described as evidence of verbal abuse and threats. Fauzah alleged that a separation agreement was subsequently drawn up requiring Popovski to leave the home and seek professional help but claimed he repeatedly returned while allegedly under the influence.
The content creator said she remained in the marriage longer than she should have because she wanted her daughter to grow up with both parents. However, she said she eventually realized that her safety, peace, and her child's well-being had to come first.
Fauzah also accused her husband of having an affair with a woman she identified as Sara Audu, whom she said initially approached her as a fan before becoming part of her social circle. She claimed to have shared a recording of a conversation in which the woman allegedly admitted to having sex with Popovski.
