Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has called on Nigerians in the North to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election.
Yari made the appeal while urging Northerners to reciprocate the support Tinubu reportedly gave former President Muhammadu Buhari when it was the North’s turn to produce the country’s leader.
He said the North should remember Tinubu’s role in supporting Buhari’s presidential ambitions and extend similar support to the incumbent president in 2027.
The former Zamfara State governor also urged party members and supporters across the region to remain united behind the APC and Tinubu’s administration.
Yari’s appeal comes as political activities and alignments ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to intensify across the country.
