Defence Minister Urges 45 Senior Military Officers to Apply War Course Knowledge


The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd.), has charged 45 senior military officers who graduated from the Air War Course 12/2026 to apply the knowledge gained during their training to effective planning, decision-making, and leadership.



Musa gave the charge on Friday through his Senior Adviser on Research and Development, **Major General C. Ofoche (retd.)**, at the 10th anniversary special graduation ceremony of the **Air Force War College Nigeria** in Makurdi, Benue State.


The minister urged the officers to translate their academic and professional training into practical skills that would strengthen military operations and leadership within the armed forces.


He also stressed the importance of sound planning and informed decision-making in addressing the evolving security challenges facing the country.


The graduation ceremony marked a decade of the Air Force War College Nigeria and celebrated the completion of the Air War Course 12/2026 by the 45 senior officers.
