A Nigerian lady identified as Princess Porsh has called out veteran music promoter and entertainment executive Ijoba Danku, accusing him of allegedly pressuring her to join his record label for personal reasons.
In a statement shared online, the lady alleged that Danku wanted her to join his label because he wanted a sexual relationship with her. She claimed she rejected his alleged advances and asked him to stop contacting her.
“Ijoba Danku, leave me alone. You want to force me to join your record label so you can sleep with me, but I refused. Leave me alone and face your Black American wife,” she said.
The allegation generated reactions on social media, with users offering different views on the claims.
Danku has since responded to the allegations. In a video shared online on September 27, he denied the account and accused Princess Porsh of assaulting him during a disagreement connected to a music video shoot. He also said the matter had been reported to the police.
According to Danku, he had hired Princess Porsh to provide models for a video shoot and maintained that he paid her and the models she brought for the job. He further alleged that she later contacted his wife with claims that he had attempted to sleep with her.
The allegations and counter-allegations have not been independently established, while the reported police involvement could determine the next steps in the dispute.
