Miss Bantu Pageant International is a pageant brand designed to promote culture and tourism, and over the past 5 years, the brand has been involved in the promotion and development of tourist sites in Nigeria and Africa at large.
In 2025, the brand was actively involved in the renaissance of Akwa Ibom cultural heritage through Christmas Unplugged, an initiative put together by the ministry of Culture and Tourism Akwa Ibom State under the able leadership of the honourable commissioner; Dr. Anietie Nseowo.
When speaking with newsmen in Uyo the capital city in an interactive session, Queen Comfort Okon said that the brand is out to partner with other brands in their humanitarian services in a bid to reach out to the downtrodden while giving back to the society.
She also added that her brand is pleased to announce their partnership with Face of Valentine Pageant International in their Girl Child Development programs and their upcoming Girl Child Conference 3.0 scheduled for October, 2026.
According to her, after their crowning held last year 2025, the brand needed to work on its management so as to be prepared for the tasks ahead and other activities.
Meet Queen Comfort Okon (Head Queen)
Queen Comfort Paulinus Okon, Miss Bantu International (2025/2026) is a native of Nsit Atai local government area in Akwa Ibom state. She speaks Ibibio and English. Her hobbies are reading and dancing.
Her motivation to join pageantry goes beyond winning a crown. According to her, she saw it as an opportunity to build her confidence, discover her potential, and to use her voice and platform to inspire others.
In her words: “I want to represent something meaningful, especially by empowering young girls and giving back to my community”.
“For me, being a queen means purpose, service and impact. I wanted a crown that would not only be worn, but one that could be used to make a difference in the lives of others.” She added.
Queen Comfort like honesty and deep conversations, and her real talents are dancing and acting.
Meet Queen Marvelous Eseme Ubom
Queen Marvelous Ubom is Miss Bantu Ambassador (2025/2026), an indigene of Nsit Ubium Local government area in Akwa Ibom State.
She speaks English language and her mother tongue and her hobbies includes sewing, reading and designing.
Her likes includes, creativity, helping people, culture, positive energy and fashion, while her dislikes are dishonesty, laziness, body shaming and negativity.
According to Queen Marvelous, she joins pageantry because she wants to be a voice for Akwa Ibom women and the Bantu culture at large. And as a fashion designer and tailor, she is passionate about using African fabrics to tell our story and put our culture on the global stage.
In her words: “This crown is more than beauty to me, it’s a platform to inspire young girls to be hardworking, confident, and proud of their roots. With my talent in sewing and my heart for helping people.”
“I want to use Miss Bantu to promote our heritage, empower women through skill acquisition, and show the world the beauty and strength of Bantu women.” She added.
Meet Queen Destiny Williams Nathaniel
From Eket local government area in Akwa Ibom State, Queen Destiny Nathaniel is Miss Bantu Humanitarian (2025/2026). She speaks Ekid, Ibeno, Annang and English language.
Her hobbies includes cooking, watching movies and reading. However, she is talented in spoken words, singing, dancing and event planning.
He likes are Peace, God, family, service to humanity and beautiful culture, while her dislikes are dishonesty, pride, injustice and disrespect.
According to her, she contested for the Miss Bantu Pageant because she believe beauty is best expressed through service. Coming from Eket, Akwa Ibom, I carry the strength, warmth, and culture of my people with me.
In her words: “I want to use this crown as a platform to give back and to reach out to the vulnerable, speak for those who feel unheard, and show young girls that compassion is power.”
“My motivation is simple: to be a light, to uplift my community, and to prove that a true queen serves with her heart.” She added.
