The Obidient Movement has cautioned the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, against any attempt to influence or manipulate the 2027 general elections.
The warning follows Wike’s recent declaration that he would serve as the “field commander” for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign in Rivers State and the FCT.
The movement’s warning comes amid growing political preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections, with political actors beginning to declare their support for candidates and outline their campaign roles.
The Obidient Movement urged Wike to ensure that his political activities do not undermine the integrity of the electoral process.
