CapitalSage Holdings Marks 10th Anniversary With New Global Headquarters in Ibadan

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, alongside the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has commissioned the global headquarters of CapitalSage Holdings in Ibadan.

The commissioning, held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, formed part of activities marking the company’s 10th anniversary and celebration of its growth over the past decade.

The event attracted traditional rulers, government officials, business leaders, investors, partners and other stakeholders. Also in attendance were the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, and the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.

Speaking at the ceremony, Makinde congratulated the company’s founder and Group Managing Director, John Alamu, for building the business into a conglomerate with about 20 companies.

The governor said natural resources alone could not guarantee economic prosperity without entrepreneurship, skills development, knowledge and productive enterprise.

He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting businesses and investors in Oyo State, noting that the growth of CapitalSage Holdings demonstrated Ibadan’s potential to attract major investments and create employment opportunities.

Alamu, in his remarks, said the company began its journey 10 years ago with an initial capital of ₦100,000 and had since expanded into a diversified group with interests across several sectors, including financial services and technology, agriculture, manufacturing and healthcare.

He described the new headquarters as a reflection of the company’s ambition to build globally competitive businesses while maintaining its roots in Nigeria.

The founder added that the group’s focus in the next decade would be on building stronger and more sustainable businesses capable of creating lasting value for future generations.

The anniversary celebration also featured a three-day business exhibition at CapitalSage House, Kenneth Dike, Secretariat Road, Ibadan, showcasing the products, services and operations of companies within the group.

The commissioning marks another milestone in the company’s expansion and its decision to maintain its global headquarters in Ibadan.
