Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Begins 2027 Re-Election Campaign in Kogi Central

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has commenced her campaign for re-election to the Senate, taking her message to communities across Kogi Central ahead of the February 6, 2027 senatorial election.

The campaign activities began on Saturday, October 31, with roadside receptions in Okene and neighbouring communities before culminating in a gathering at her residence in Obeiba, Ihima, in Okehi Local Government Area.

The engagements attracted supporters, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members, community leaders and political stakeholders. PDP candidates contesting National Assembly and Kogi State House of Assembly seats across the district also joined the campaign.

Accompanied by her husband, Emmanuel Uduaghan, and other political associates, the senator used the opportunity to reaffirm her commitment to constituency development, legislative advocacy and quality representation.

Speaking during the engagements, Akpoti-Uduaghan said her relationship with the people of Kogi Central went beyond election seasons, describing them as her family and the reason for her continued commitment to public service.

She also expressed appreciation to supporters who turned out for the campaign, saying their continued confidence meant a great deal to her.

The senator pledged to intensify efforts to attract infrastructure projects, economic opportunities and development initiatives to the district, with particular attention to longstanding concerns in the Ajaokuta area.

She stressed that effective representation should involve regular engagement with constituents, responsiveness to their needs and purposeful legislative interventions. <Cite refs={["turn582402search0","turn582402news5"]}/>
