It is an open secret that the entertainment Industry, particularly radio and Television, is one of the most influential media, in modern day social media is also very powerful but it is heavily influenced by the previous two.
This is the reason for tons of Advertising by the hour via these media.
The Major percentages of people are persuaded by what the see or listen to from these media.
The sad thing is that 80% of what is passed across via these media can be categorized into two: Sex and Glamor. Unfortunately these two things are promoted by the Devil. It is our option that this seems to be one of the greatest reasons why many souls are yet to be saved, as these very engaging media institutions feed them predominately with these Anti-Gods.
The Church sadly is not doing much to help salvage the situation; at best most churches pay for airtime to broadcast their pastor’s Messages. The Core Areas like Music and Movies is given the least attention and as a result the populace is left without a better substitute to the garbage been feed them.
Those who try to do some things in this area at best shoot low class videos and churn out wacky songs in the name of Gospel music. The best of our music is reserved for services or concerts in the Church. We however have not yet shone our music and movie light out of the Church into the World where we are really supposed to Shine.
THE MISSION
This is the reason for Club Awesome; we believe that if we Kingdom People do not do any thing about this present reality it will continue. It is high time we added proactive projects to our prayers.
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
(Isaiah 58:12)
We have been mandated by God to be Saviors in the field of entertainment.(Obah 1:21) we will take back this territory from Satan for The Kingdom.
TACTICS
This we will do by:
• Providing Kingdom filled Quality Alternatives (Music, Albums, Movies, Scripts, e.t.c)
• Organizing Events and Concerts
• Discovering and Supporting Talented Kingdom people
• Setting up An Entertainment label
• Distributing and promoting Kingdom media.
We also believe there is Gospel media for the church (Mostly worship and doctrine oriented) but also there is Gospel Media for the world (Relevant, Inspiring, Salvation, Solution Oriented). Most of our emphasis is will be on the Gospel Media for the World, as this is in very low Supply in addition, it is a tremendous tool for evangelism.
We will Surely Recover the Entertainment Industry for the Kingdom of God!
