After
a year after Chief Olu Falae, a former secretary to the government of
the federation, was abducted by suspected herdsmen in Ondo state, his
kidnappers have been finally sentenced.
According to a Tweet posted by online new platform,
SaharaReporters, an Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure on Monday,
April 10, have sentenced the kidnappers of elder statesman and
influential politician, Chief Olu Falae, to life in prison in a final
judgment delivered today.

The sentencing comes over a year after Chief Olu Falae, a former
secretary to the government of the federation, was kidnapped by some men
believed to be Fulani herdsmen, at his Ilado farm along Igbatoro Road,
Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo state
