According to the data, Indonesia tops the chart with about 243 million Muslims, making it the country with the largest Muslim population globally. It is closely followed by Pakistan with 241 million, while India comes third with an estimated 200 million Muslims, despite being a predominantly non-Muslim nation.
African powerhouse Nigeria ranks 5th worldwide with about 97 million Muslims, reflecting the country’s strong religious diversity. Egypt, Turkey, Iran and Bangladesh also maintain significant Muslim populations.
