What began as a celebrated union just a few months ago has now turned into a heartbreaking tragedy in a polygamous household.
Princess Chérifa, who recently married into the family as the second wife and was expected to bring harmony and support to the home, has instead become the center of a shocking act of violence. She was introduced to help the first wife care for their husband — the man she fondly referred to as “my King.” But as time passed, Chérifa’s possessiveness grew uncontrollably.
According to family sources, the second wife became increasingly frustrated with sharing her husband and reportedly viewed her co-wife as an obstacle. The pressure mounted until Chérifa, in a fit of rage and jealousy, allegedly boiled peppered water with the intention of “teaching a lesson to those who look at what belongs to others.”
The first wife, who was asleep at the time of the attack, woke up in excruciating pain as the scalding mixture burned her skin. She was immediately rushed to Manbain Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Princess Chérifa has since fled the community. Before disappearing, she reportedly boasted that “a princess may go into exile temporarily, but she will always return to her palace.”
This entire tragedy — all because of a man.
