The Department of State Services (DSS) has apprehended the suspected mastermind behind the deadly attack on the (ECWA) Church in Ayetoro, Kogi State. The December 14, 2025 incident left the community in shock after no fewer than 20 worshippers were abducted during the assault.
Security sources confirmed that the suspect was picked up following weeks of intelligence gathering and coordinated operations aimed at dismantling the criminal network responsible for the attack. Authorities have assured residents that investigations are ongoing and efforts are being intensified to secure the safe return of the remaining victims while bringing all those involved to justice.
