NSCDC CG Ahmed Audi Exits Service Upon Attaining Retirement Age

 


The Commandant-General of the (NSCDC), , on Friday formally bowed out of service after attaining the mandatory retirement age and completing his tenure in office.

Dr Ahmed Audi’s retirement marks the end of his leadership of the paramilitary agency, where he oversaw operations across the country and spearheaded key reforms aimed at strengthening internal security and protecting critical national assets.

During his time in office, the NSCDC intensified efforts in combating vandalism, safeguarding infrastructure, and supporting other security agencies in maintaining law and order nationwide.

He expressed appreciation to officers and men of the Corps for their support and dedication throughout his tenure, urging them to remain committed to professionalism and service to the nation. Further announcements regarding his successor are expected in due course.
