Three additional suspects have been joined in the murder case of 22-year-old Nigerian e-hailing driver, Isaac Satlat, as proceedings continue at the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court.
The suspects — Tumishang Mogau Mabutla (23) and his girlfriend, Ofentse Senwamadi (18), both residents of Atteridgeville, as well as Thabang Kenneth Mothwa (27) from Saulsville — were formally added to the matter following their recent arrest.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority, Mabutla is facing charges of premeditated murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances. Senwamadi has been charged as an accessory after the fact to the same offences, while Mothwa is charged with robbery with aggravating circumstances as an accessory after the fact.
Prosecutors allege that the trio acted in common purpose with three previously charged suspects — Dikeledi Tears Mphela, Goitsione Machidi and McClaren Mushwana — in the killing of Satlat on February 11, 2026.
It is further alleged that after the incident, Satlat’s vehicle was taken to Mothwa, where its tracking device was removed, while the victim’s body was reportedly disposed of elsewhere.
The newly added suspects were arrested on February 16, 2026. The matter has now been postponed to February 23, 2026, when all six accused persons are expected to appear together in court as investigations continue.
