Police Probe AIG Moshood Jimoh Over Allegations by VeryDarkMan

 


The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed that it is investigating the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, AIG Moshood Jimoh, over allegations made by social media personality, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.

The confirmation follows claims made by VeryDarkMan on social media, in which he levelled allegations against the senior police officer, prompting widespread public reactions and calls for an official response.

In a statement, the Nigeria Police Force disclosed that the allegations are being taken seriously and have been referred for investigation in line with the Force's internal disciplinary and accountability procedures.

The police assured the public that the investigation would be conducted professionally, impartially, and in accordance with due process, stressing that no officer is above the law.
